5.2 Processing of recruitment data (CVs and cover letters)

As part of managing its job offers and recruitment processes, KONNY AFRIQUE collects and processes the personal data provided by applicants (last name, first name, contact details, career history, skills, etc.).

• Purpose: this data is used exclusively by the human resources department and the relevant managers of KONNY AFRIQUE to assess whether the applicant's profile matches the positions available in its offices (Togo, Benin). Applications for a position in Côte d'Ivoire are passed on to KONNY & EXPERTS ASSOCIÉS, a member of the KONNY network, which processes them for its own recruitment. Apart from this case, they are not passed on to other entities of the KONNY network.
• Legal basis: this processing is based on the performance of pre-contractual measures (reviewing an application with a view to a possible employment contract).
• Retention period: if the application is unsuccessful, KONNY AFRIQUE keeps files and CVs for a maximum of 2 years from the last contact with the applicant, unless the applicant explicitly objects. This allows us to contact the applicant again if a new opportunity matching their profile arises.
• Your rights: in accordance with Togolese Law No. 2019-014 of 29 October 2019 on the protection of personal data and, where applicable, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), each applicant has the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict the processing of and object to the processing of their personal data.
